This immersion type Resideo aquastat is used in several applications such as Outdoor Wood Furnaces (example; when you need to measure the temperature of water in the pipe to trigger either a pump or zone valve) or your indoor gas furnace. This unit temperature range is from 130-265 degrees and the differential of the temperature is adjustable from 5-30 degrees F.
